I want the impossible for my birthday!

Most girls want makeup, shoes, or school break. I want the impossible.
Impossible because my family doesn’t want to go into debt, because my family has more than the average 2.1 kids, and because people no longer see children as the blessings they are.
But I believe in the impossible for many reasons, but I’ll only share two.
One: Because I have a loving Savior who sent his Son to-die-for me, and raised his Son from the dead to take the sins of any who trust in Him.
Two: Because my parents were told they would never have kids and now about eighteen years later I am sitting here writing this, while my seven siblings do chores, school, and play.
That’s why I believe in the impossible made possible by a loving God.
The impossible I want for my birthday and Christmas is a house.
And all that needs to happen for that is my Mom selling almost 2600 t-shirts she designs, that’s a lot I know but it can happen!
My birthday is in twelve days and Christmas is in forty-three days.
I’m not asking for charity I’m just asking is you think about buying a shirt (or ten) from her shop so we can rent a house that my family and I are in love with. Maybe you need a gift (or ten) for someone.

I have faith that we could rent this house and move in before my birthday or Christmas, I just hope that you consider helping.
Happy early Thanksgiving!
~A girl who wants the impossible that is made possible by a loving God.
This is what my Mom said about so you know more.
Maybe I’ve been watching too many Hallmark Movies, but I have an idea. You see, my family has been trying to move out of this house (a house we never even chose to move into) for years. Years. There’s always been a road block. Landlords say we have too many children, the fact that the only debt we have is medical debt so we have no credit, somebody else gets the house first, rentals are out of our budget, etc.
There is currently a house for rent that we absolutely adore. There is room to run, play, and enjoy the fresh air. The perfect little space for a school room is just off the kitchen that holds an amazing vintage sink. And, the rent is the most reasonable rent I’ve ever seen in our area. AND it is a tenant house that is a part of a historic home site … if you have any idea how much of a history nerd I am, you have a fraction of an idea how much this thrills me.
We’ve been turned down so many times. The thought of being told no yet again is just deflating. Especially when I want this house so badly. I want to have a yard where my children can enjoy the snow this winter. I want to bake our Christmas cinnamon rolls in that kitchen and wash the dishes in that gorgeous sink while watching the kids play out the window over it. I want to read my Bible sitting by the upstairs window that invites the sunlight to flood in. I want those things so badly that I can’t imagine being told no. Again.
So. An idea came to me. If I can come up with a year’s worth of rent to pay up front, maybe, just maybe, they wouldn’t tell us no. Then I thought, “How on Earth am I going to come up with a year’s worth of rent?”
When you search popular fundraising ideas, selling T-shirts is at the top of the list. That was a little discouraging since I already sell T-shirts. Which, it’s going pretty well, but certainly not well enough to pay for an entire year’s worth of rent before Christmas. (I mean, I’d love to be moved before Thanksgiving and more importantly my daughter’s 17th birthday but that is a little unrealistic even for my imagination.) I calculated just how many shirts I would have to sell. 2,563. Yes, 2,563. Which is exactly 2,498 more shirts than I’ve sold since I started selling shirts in July. I know. It sounds impossible. But. I’ve always been a stickler for hope. And like I said, I’ve probably been watching too many Hallmark movies.
If you are in the market for a t-shirt, want to have a hand in a real life Hallmark Movie, and want to help Us Be Home For Christmas would you consider shopping with us? And praying for us? Maybe, possibly sharing with others who you think might be in the market for a shirt and would want to be a part of a real life Hallmark Movie?
(My Etsy shop still has a bunch of things I haven’t gotten around to listing on the website, so please take a look there too! https://www.etsy.com/shop/SalsaAndTea… )
