Grace in Strange Disguise (Grace, #1)About:
People disappoint us but what if God does too?
Physiotherapist Esther Macdonald is living the Australian dream, and it doesn’t surprise her.
After all, her father has always said, “Follow Jesus and be blessed.” But at twenty-eight, her world shatters. Everyone assures her God will come through for her, but what happens when he doesn’t? Has she offended God? Is her faith too small? So many conflicting explanations.
Will finding the truth cost her the people closest to her heart?

My Review:

Genre: Christian fiction.

My Rating: 3 stars.

My Recommendation: 15 up.

My Favorite character/s: Esther was kind of shallow at first but the author did a wonderful job of developing her character in the right places at the right times, I enjoyed reading as she grew.

My Verse for Esther is 2 Corinthians 12:9
And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. (King James Version.)

My Thoughts: This is a very deep book that doesn’t only follow a woman battling cancer, it follows a woman who finds stronger faith in God. There was only one thing that I felt was unresearched and that it the fact that EVERYONE was surprised that the main character had cancer, age has nothing to do with a person having cancer. Other than that the book was accurate from what I know. I look forward to the squeal and this is my first read of 2019!

I received this book in exchange for a review. This is my first review request which you can find out more about here!
