My Review:

My Thoughts:

I’ve reread this book about 3 times since I first read it and I still love it after all this time! It is the sweetest Cinderella retelling I’ve read, and I loved Alex, and I liked that the story wasn’t really sappy like most fairy-tale retellings. This is another 5-star read from Sarah Holman. Though, there is a slight abuse of Amelia and should be read with slight cation by people easily triggered by abuse.

My Verse for this story: Deuteronomy 10:18

He doth execute the judgment of the fatherless and widow, and loveth the stranger, in giving him food and raiment. (King James Version.)
