Book Review of A Kaerasti for Clari by Carol Moncado

A Kaerasti for Clari: A Contemporary Christian Romance (Crowns & Courtships Novellas Book 2) by [Moncado, Carol]

About: Joel Christiansen is just trying to pick up some extra cash by delivering packages and driving for Yfir, a ridesharing service. He’s called on to deliver flowers to the palace, but the name is wrong on his sheet. When he finally gets it straightened out, his life turns upside down.

Clari Sørenson’s job as social media manager for Eyjania’s Queen Mother keeps her busy, too busy for a social life, much to the chagrin of pretty much everyone, including her Icelandic grandmother.

An unexpected flower delivery followed by a treasure hunt with a cute guy might be the vacation she needs.

Between clues and a snow storm, they’re drawn to each other. Her grandparents, and even the Queen Mother, have been after her to find a boyfriend, but is Joel the Kærasti for Clari?

My Review:

My Thoughts: A sweet mix-up story with a boatload of underlying feelings, fears, and secrets. This story is an easy short read, and perfect for a nice afternoon in the sun. Great for 16/17 up.
