My Review of His Anchor by Carrie Fancett Pagels: This was a sweet novella that followed a young lady that had lost her parents (one having passed away, and the other having left) and her best friend’s younger uncle, as they and her siblings weather rumors, whispered words that wound, and mistaken assumptions of love. Ending all too soon His Anchor is a perfect hour read that ends with surprises for the heroine.
Rating: 4 and 1/2 stars.
Recommendation: 16 up for inappropriate suggestions from a suitor.
