Thoughts

This turned out to be a new favorite Christmas story!

I was not surprised since I have enjoyed several of Mrs. Alexander’s books and have wanted to read more for a long time. The heartwarming feel of this story as it breaches sadness to end with a dawning of hope for all of the characters is one I love. And the opening to a new series from the best-selling author leaves me wanting more.

I only wish that Jake, Aletta, and the others had a longer story… But, I do believe I’ll be content once I read the rest of the series.
