I am reviewing one story in a collection of Christmas stories.
Blizzard in the Bluegrass by Hallee Bridgeman
A once in a century winter storm hits Charula, Kentucky taking the small town completely by surprise. Gloria has just started to make room in her life for Doctor Jeff, but feels very protective of her eight year old autistic son, Noah. When the blizzard shuts everything down, they cannot imagine how events will unfold will change their lives forever.
Sadly, very sadly, this is far from a favorite Hallee Bridgeman story.
I just found that I didn’t like the characters (except for Noah) or even plot and story.
The pacing was off, there wasn’t much that actually happened and I just didn’t connect with the characters.
However you may enjoy it if you like romances with couples finding a second chance with love.
