Blog Tour: 7 Days of Hope!

When I saw the sign ups for this tour I thought about doing it. When I got a personal invite to join this tour … I knew I needed to sign up, no matter what.

Which wouldn’t be that hard to do but I’ve recently had some hard health things come up. Things that come and go on any given day and can be different from moment to moment.

Hope … Hopeless … Hope … And back and forth can make a day can feel with an unsureity when dealing health things that can end with going to the ER that night or other stressful things going on with health. So, I signed up for this tour expecting to finish it easily and soon and am ending up to do the post last minute and I was talking with a friend about how maybe I shoulden’t be doing it at this time as it has been so hard to have hope lately. But she was right when she said it shows I should be doing the tour right now.

She was right, very right, because putting this post together turned out to be a good and timely reminder that I didn’t know I needed so badly.

I’m so glad that I joined the 7 Days of Hope blog tour wiwthout knowing how much hope it would offer me.

This song is a family favorite that I really love to listen to when things are tough because it offers so much hope and there’s so much beauty in it.

Psalm 23:4

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

Psalm 30:11-12

Thou hast turned for me my mourning into dancing: thou hast put off my sackcloth, and girded me with gladness;

To the end that my glory may sing praise to thee, and not be silent. O Lord my God, I will give thanks unto thee for ever.

Okay, really any of the verses in Psalm 30 are some of my VERY favorites! The Psalms are always so encouraging!

Even when things feel like they are falling apart God still provides for us in ways we don’t know to expect and gives us just what we need.

I didn’t sign up for the tour expecting to get so much out of it but I’m so glad now I did as it has blessed me so very much, I hope it has you too!

And, the sweet ladies who are cordnating the tour have set up a very awesome giveaway which you can enter here!

  2. This is beautiful, Abi! I love your perspective on doing the tour during a time when you’re grappling for hope. I, too, had a moment’s pause when thinking about having signed up for this and then feeling kind of hopeless . . . BUT, like you said, that’s just the time when it can be the most blessing, and sometimes to others too! There’s nothing so encouraging as someone who KNOWS the struggle and can still say, “There is HOPE!”

    1. Yes, Chelsea. As you know my week had not been entirely Hope filled. I’ve been so blessed by the tour though! Hope is real, and we can share it, even if we don’t feel like it in the moment. ❤️

    2. It is hard at times but yes, I agree, Chelsea! I didn’t know until recently how glad I am that there are others who REALLY understand. ❤
