Here’s that nonfiction post I mentioned the other day.
Until recently I thought that I was going to be an author – and I am.
But lately, I’ve felt like I need to surrender my dreams and accept that things aren’t always going to go the way I plan, like:
Being part of The Young Writer Workshop.
Getting a job.
Or getting my learner’s permit.
And now my blogging and writing.
I feel like God is leading me in another direction and I’ve been fighting it, fighting it as much as I can until two months ago when I started writing a new story that I’ve been playing around with called A Brother’s Promise and I’m now making changes to my blog(s) and I am working on surrendering the want of control and doing things my way.
And I know I need to surrender, but it is can be hard.
